Creating product variants in FF Inventory is essential for businesses dealing with items that come in different sizes, colors, or other specifications. Here's how you can add variants to your products in the inventory:
Access Product/Services: From the "Manage Inventory" menu at the top, select the "Product/Services" option.
Begin Product Addition: Click on "+ Add New Product" to start the process of adding a new item.
Select Product Type: Choose "Variant Product" if you want to create a product with variations.
Note:
Composite Item: A product consisting of multiple items sold independently.
Manage Stock Level: Ticking this box means FF Inventory will control the stock for the product.
Track Serial Numbers: Enable to track individual items.
Manufactured: Check if required in the Bill of Material.
Sellable: Indicates if the product is available for sale.
Track Batch: Enables batch tracking.
Fill in Product Details: Provide the Product Name, SKU, and Barcode. You can use the Automatic SKU option for SKU generation.
Pricing Details: Enter the buying, wholesale, and selling prices. Note that the wholesale price entry is optional.
Set Variant Base: Add a label based on which your variants will be, like size, color, weight, etc. Click "+Add Another Variation" for different qualifiers.
Add Packs: If selling products in packs, add the quantity and label. Click "+ Add Another Pack" to include new pack options.
Initial Stock and Other Details: Include Initial Stock Quantity, Stock Location, Supplier, Product Type, Brand, and Country of Origin. Add new entries as needed.
Product Settings: Add the HSN code, warranty, and dimensions if applicable.
HSN: A unique code for classifying goods for taxation.
Stock Alerts and Reorder Quantity:
Set minimum stock alerts and reorder quantities.
Select the pricelist from the given options. You can add a new pricelist using the "Create Pricelist" option. Note that, assigning a pricelist is optional. Click on "Next" to continue.
Review Variant Options: Ensure all details like Buy Price, Sell Price, Name, SKU, and Initial Stock are accurate.
Enable Serialization: If necessary, check the Track SN Box for serialization.
Enter Serial Numbers: Input serial numbers for your products and click "Save" once done.
Finalize Product Creation: Click "Create Product" after verifying all details.
View Individual Variants: After creation, click on the Variant Name to view detailed information about each variant.
