Adding new products to your inventory in FF Inventory is a streamlined process, whether you’re dealing with simple items, variants, or composite products. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you add a simple product:

  1. Access Products/Services: From the Manage Inventory" menu at the top, select the "Product/Services" option.

  2. Initiate Product Addition: Click on "+ Add New Product" to begin the process.

  3. Choose Product Type: Select the type of product as "Simple Product" and click "Next".

    • Note:

      • Composite Item: This is a product comprising multiple items and sold independently.

      • Manage Stock Level: Checking this field makes FF Inventory the master of stock for the product; otherwise, the product will be listed with infinite stock availability.

      • Track Serial Numbers: Check this to track items individually from creation to sale.

      • Manufactured: Check if the product is needed in the Bill of Material.

      • Sellable: Indicates whether the product can be listed and sold.

      • Track Batch: Enables tracking of product batches.

  4. Fill in Product Details: Enter the Product Name, SKU, and Barcode. You can use the Automatic SKU button for auto-generating SKU.

  5. Add Product Description: Insert a detailed description of the product, including media or tables if necessary.

  6. Set Pricing: Add the buying price, wholesale price, and selling price. Note that entering a wholesale price is optional.

  7. Input Initial Stock and Other Details: Add Initial Stock Quantity, Stock Location, Supplier, Product Type, Brand, and Country of Origin. Use the "+" button to add new suppliers or brands as needed. Click "Next" to proceed.

  8. Assign Product Settings: Add the product's HSN code, Warranty, and Dimensions if required.

    • HSN: A unique code for classifying goods for taxation.

  9. Set Stock Alerts and Reorder Quantity:

    • Send Alert if Stock is Less: Set a minimum stock quantity. FF Inventory will alert you if the stock falls below this number.

    • Reorder Quantity: The number of units to reorder from the manufacturer or supplier.

    • Note: You can assign a pricelist to the product at this stage. Select from the dropdown or create a new one using the "Create Pricelist" button.

  10. Review Variant Options: Ensure all details like Buy Price, Sell Price, SKU, and Initial Stock are correct.

  11. Enable Serialization: If required, check the Track SN Box to enable serialization for your product.

  12. Enter Serial Numbers: Input the serial numbers for your products and click "Save" once done.

  13. Create the Product: After adding and verifying all details, click "Create Product" to finalize the addition of your new product.

  14. Finalize and View Product Variant: You’ll be redirected to the product variant section to view your newly added product, now successfully listed in the inventory.

By following these steps, you can efficiently add a variety of products to your FF Inventory, streamlining your inventory management process.
