Creating a composite product or bundle in FF Inventory is a great way to offer value to your customers and manage your inventory more effectively. A composite product, also known as a bundle, combines existing simple or variant products into a single offering. Here’s how you can create one:

  1. Navigate to Manage Inventory: Start by going to the "Manage Inventory" section in the main menu. Then, select the "Products & Services" option.

  2. Initiate Product Creation: Click on the "Add New Product" button to begin the process of creating a new product.

  3. Select Composite Product Option: From the dropdown list, choose the Composite product option, then click on the "Next" button.

  4. Enter Product Details: Fill in the product name and SKU. Also, input other details like prices and descriptions. For a composite product, you can set the buy price as 0, as it is not ordered directly from a supplier.

  5. Select Warehouse: Choose the appropriate warehouse for the product and then click on the "Next" button at the bottom right corner. You can calculate and set the initial stock in the Composite Options Section.

  6. Input Additional Information: Enter the HSN code, warranty details, return eligibility, and dimensions if applicable.

  7. Set Alerts and Pricelists: Configure low-quantity alerts to manage stock levels. You can also select and assign a pricelist from existing ones or create a new one using the "Create Pricelist" button. After assigning the pricelist, click on the "Next" button to move to the next step.

  8. Add Components: Choose the components or parts from the available product list and set their quantities to form the composition. Use the "Generate Max. Value" button to calculate the maximum number of composite products that can be created with the available component quantities. This number will be the initial Stock for the composite product.

  9. Finalize the Product: Click on the "Create Product" button to complete the creation of your composite product.

Note: The inventory levels of the composite product are auto-calculated in real time based on the composition and available quantities of the components. So, when you purchase more components from suppliers, these quantities will automatically update, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.

By following these steps, you can effectively create and manage composite products or bundles in FF Inventory, enhancing the versatility and efficiency of your inventory system.
