Importing products into FF Inventory is an efficient way to update your inventory, especially when dealing with a large number of items. This article guides you through the process of importing products manually using CSV files.

Note: Ensure your files are in CSV format for a successful import.

Steps for Importing Products:

  1. Access Product/Service Section: In FF Inventory, go to the Manage Inventory section and click on "Product/Service".

  2. Initiate Import Process: Click on the "Import" button to start the product import process.

  3. Upload CSV File:

    • Upload Method: Drag and drop your CSV file into the designated area or browse your computer to select and upload the file.

    • Sample CSV File: FF Inventory provides a sample CSV file that you can download and use as a template for your data. This ensures your file is formatted correctly for import.

    • Variant Products: If importing variant products, enable the variant products checkbox. Make sure to check this option before downloading the sample CSV if you're using it. You can also enable multi-warehousing if you have more than one warehouse.

  4. Map CSV Fields: Once your CSV file is uploaded, map the fields in your file to the corresponding fields in FF Inventory. This step ensures that your data is accurately integrated into the inventory system.

  5. Field Matching: Carefully match all fields in your CSV file to those in FF Inventory and then click on "Next".

  6. Edit Products and Variants: If necessary, edit products and their variants by clicking on the settings icon. This allows for adjustments and refinements before finalizing the import.

  7. Additional Product Details: Add details like the product's supplier, brand, and product type in the provided fields. Once all details are entered, you can close the pop-up.

  8. Execute Import: Click on the "Import Products" button to start the import process into your FF Inventory account.

    • Note: The system automatically skips any duplicate SKUs to prevent data redundancy.

  9. Import Confirmation: Once the import is complete, a confirmation pop-up will appear, indicating that the product import has been executed successfully.

  10. Review Imported Products: You can now view the newly added products in your FF Inventory account, ensuring that your inventory is up-to-date.

This process of importing products into FF Inventory streamlines inventory management, especially for businesses with extensive product catalogs. By following these steps, you can efficiently update your inventory, saving time and reducing the potential for errors associated with manual entry.
