Creating a package in FF Inventory is a straightforward process that enhances your order fulfillment efficiency. This process begins after creating an invoice and sales order for the products you intend to package. Here’s how to complete the package creation process in FF Inventory:

  1. Choose Packaging Option:

    • On the sales order page, you have two choices for creating a package: "Create a Package" or "Pack All".

    • Create a Package is for partial/selective packaging, and Pack All is for packaging the entire order.

  2. Create a Package (Selective Packaging):

    • Select Specific Items: If you opt for "Create a Package", you can select specific parts of the sales order to package, like certain line items or quantities.

    • Add Details: Specify delivery type, carrier, shipping cost, message to the supplier, and tags.

    • Save Package: Click "Save & Close" to save your packaging details. The order will be packed as specified and details will be visible along with the invoice.

    • Additional Options: You can edit, delete, download, or clone the package. You can also download the invoice. If you've only packed specific items, use "Pack Remaining" to package the rest of the order.

  3. Pack All (Complete Packaging):

    • Automatic Packaging: Selecting "Pack All" will automatically create a package with all line items in the sales order.

    • Note: Attachments like images, excel sheets, or documents can be added to your package in the "Attachments" section.

  4. Track Package Status:

    • After packaging, you can track the status of your package directly in FF Inventory.

By following these steps, you can efficiently create packages for your sales orders in FF Inventory, whether you’re dealing with partial or complete orders. This feature not only simplifies the packaging process but also ensures that your order fulfillment is accurate and customer-centric. Efficient packaging is key to a smooth logistics process, enhancing overall customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
