How to Create Returns in FF Inventory?

Managing returns effectively is crucial for customer satisfaction and inventory accuracy. FF Inventory's returns management feature simplifies this process, making it more efficient and user-friendly. Here’s a detailed guide on how to create returns in FF Inventory:

  1. Access Sales Orders:

    • Navigate to "Sales" and then to "Sales Orders" from the Navbar. Here, you'll find all your sales orders listed.


  2. Select Sales Order for Return:

    • Choose and open the sales order from which you want to create a return.


  3. Initiate Return Process:

    • Scroll down to the Returns Section and select the appropriate option based on your needs:

      • Create Return: To manually select items from the sales order for returns.

      • Return All: To return all items in the sales order and generate a return slip.

      • Return & Receive All: To return and mark all items as received, affecting your inventory.


  4. Fill in Return Details:

    • After clicking "Create Return" enter the quantities to be returned.

    • Fill in the mandatory return code.

    • Click "Save & Close" to save the return or "Save & View" to proceed and view the return slip.


  5. Add Return Information:

    • Enter details like Return Quantity, Reason, and Received Quantity (if items are already received).



  6. Finalizing Partial Returns:

    • Once the return details are added, you'll be redirected to the Sales Order Page, where partial returns can be viewed.


    • To return the remaining units, click "Return Remaining".


  7. Issue Credit Note:

    • Click the "" button and select "Credit Note".


    • Enter the Credit Note Data and Tags.


    • You can also create a credit note from the Returns section by clicking the Return code and then "Create Credit Note".


  8. Save and View Credit Note:

    • Click "Save & View" to finalize and view the credit note.


  9. Accessing Credit Notes and Return Slips:

    • Once the credit note is issued, it will be listed under "Credit Notes".


    • To view all return slips, go to Sales >> Returns from the Navbar.
