How to Connect the TaxJar?

TaxJar integration with ZapInventory brings together the power of two robust platforms to simplify sales tax management for your business. This integration allows you to automate tax calculations, generate accurate sales tax reports, and effortlessly ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Follow the steps below to connect your TaxJar account with ZapInventory.

Step 1: Navigate to the "Apps" section from the menu.

Step 2: Go to the "TaxJar" option in the "Accounting" tab.

Step 3: Click on the "Add Account +" button.

Step 4: Enter the API key from your TaxJar account and click "Connect" to proceed.

Note: To generate the API key, log in to your TaxJar account and go to Account >> API Access.

Step 5: Your TaxJar account is successfully connected to ZapInventory.

Step 6: Now, you can manage your taxes in the sales orders using the Auto-Tax Calculation process. Open any existing sales order, or create a new one as per your requirement.

Step 7: You can click the "USA Auto-Tax' button. The taxes will be auto-calculated and applied based on your customer's address.
