How to Setup Vamaship?

Learn how to connect your FF Inventory account with Vamaship and add shipment to your orders.

In FF Inventory, you can use Vamaship for the shipment of your orders.

Note: To use Vamaship with your FF Inventory account, ensure that you have entered the valid information in the mandatory fields for your company profile.

The Mandatory fields are -

1. Contact details – A valid Contact number and Email for your company

2. Addresses – An actual address with a valid Pin code and State.

3. Warehouses - An actual address for the warehouse.

4. Customer details - Valid contact details and actual addresses for the customer.

Follow the steps below to learn how to connect your FF Inventory account with Vamaship.

Step 1: Click on the "Apps" option from the navigation bar.

Step 2: Select the "Shipping" tab and click on the "Vamaship" option.

Step 3: Click the "Add Account +" button.

Step 4: Enter the Access token in the textbox and click on the "Connect" button.

Note: You can get the Access token in your Vamaship account. Go to the "Ambassador" option in the navigation bar and copy the Ambassador API token.

Step 5: You have successfully connected your FF Inventory account with Vamaship.

Follow the steps below to learn how to use Vamaship to add the shipment of your order.

Step 1: Go to Manage Sales >> Packages and select the package for which you want to add the shipment.

Step 2: Click the "Create Shipment" button in the Shipment section, as shown below.

Step 3: Select the "Shipping channel" from the dropdown list.

Step 4: You can select the “Shipped Date” and “Received Date” as per your requirement. Enter the "Dimensions” of the package.

Step 5: Enter the “Package name” and the “References”, if any. Select the “Model Type” for your package.

Step 6: Select the "Order Type" from the dropdown list.

Step 7: Select the "Category" for your package of products.

Step 8: You can select the Package Info tab to review the products in your package. Click the "Add Shipment" button to complete the shipping process. 

Note: Ensure that you have selected the partners in your Vamaship account as per your requirements. Go to the "Personalize" option in the navigation bar and select the "Modify Partner Preferences" tab. Here you can select and change your partner preferences.
